In The Beginning....
The Rubidoux Drive-In Theatre was built as a single screen drive-in during the early 1950's. In its early years, the Rubidoux had several amusement park rides located in a playground beneath the screen tower. In the 1980's, two additional screens were added to the Rubidoux. The Rubidoux shows a full complement of first run motion pictures.

The Rubidoux Swap Meet....
The Rubidoux Swap Meet first opened in the late 1980's. From its humble beginnings on weekends, the swap meet has now expanded to four days per week. Although the Rubidoux is the newest of the area's swap meets, it is extremely successful because of its high level of services provided to both buyers and sellers.

De Anza Land and Leisure Corp.....
De Anza Land and Leisure Corp. owns and operates the Rubidoux Drive-In Theatre and Swap Meet and six other drive-in theatres (five with swap meets) in the states of California, Arizona, Utah and Georgia. De Anza is a successor company started by a group of drive-in theatre pioneers who began their drive-in careers in the late 1940's.
